Plot of the play:
In a quaint little Ticino village, a decidedly more modern and trendy bar is opened next to a traditional bar run by an equally traditional manager (Flavio Sala). This new bar, which seeks to bring a breath of fresh air to the village through a cosmopolitan touch, is run by an enterprising manager (Rosy Nervi). The rivalry between the two bars is palpable, and the fear of losing customers drives them to wage no-holds-barred war against each other.
The play, with its tight-knit cast, delivers moments of great fun, showcasing not only the story of a professional rivalry, but also a tale of community, love and rediscovering one's roots in a changing world.
